Pick up a paper booklet ($3) or download the Santa Fe Margarita Trail app ($2.99) and work your way through a list of forty-five margaritas, scattered among the bars and restaurants in and around the City Different. It would be like choosing a favorite child to name the best one, but I prefer the Nooner at Casa Sena near the plaza, which comes with entertainment provided by the restaurant’s singing servers. The GOAT Cabrito at Harry’s Roadhouse (pictured) is shaken, not stirred, and comes with the shaker on the side to ensure you get every last drop. (And it strains out the ice.) Present your app or booklet to get stamped (no more than two per day) and receive $1 off. Once you get five stamps, you can cash in for a Margarita Trail T-shirt. Complete the trail and you’re eligible for a VIP Margarita Package, which is customized to your experiences and preferences.
